RIYADH: Clinics of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) continued to provide medical treatments and health care services in Yemen’s Al-Khokha directorate in partnership with the Taiba Foundation for Development, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Department of Integrative Care and other departments received more than 2,800 patients and provided them with the necessary care during the final week of March.
Laboratory examinations were carried out for 1,740 patients, and medicine was dispensed for 1,973 patients. The Healthcare Clinic received 800 patients.
KSRelief continued the implementation of water supply and environmental sanitation projects in the directorates of Midi, Abs, Hiran and Haradh in Hajjah Governorate.
During the period from March 28 to April 2, 83,000 liters of healthy drinking water and 60,000 liters of water for other uses were pumped into tanks, benefiting 6,500 people.
KSRelief also continued the implementation of water and environmental sanitation projects to help families in Al-Khokha.
During the period from March 28 to April 2, 296,000 liters of healthy drinking water and 330,000 liters of water for other uses were pumped into tanks. Sewage was sucked out, waste was removed from camps, there was maintenance of tanks and bathrooms, and spraying campaigns for disease vector control were carried out. More than 4,600 people benefited.
The projects come within the framework of the humanitarian and relief efforts from the Kingdom, represented by KSRelief, to improve Yemenis’ living conditions during the humanitarian crisis.
